I really never thought I would finish this quilt. I started it in April 2006 and put it away when my husband passed and we moved. Then I lost the designs, not once, but THREE times. When I found the designs, I could not find the fabric. It was one thing after another.
But here we are with a finished top. I am still amazed. I used every last inch of the fabric for the binding so it really is ready to be a quilt. I just hope the binding does not disappear between now and the time it returns from my LAQ!!
I cannot recall who the designer is of the embroideries, but I just love the happy little snowmen. My granddaughter asked if she could have this quilt and I had to say this one was mine. I did promise to make her another snowman quilt and she was happy with that......as long as I make a flower one too! My little negotiator.
