Year of Finished Projects Feb Report

For January my goals were to have 45 of the 90 blocks in my Bowties quilt all hand quilted.  I have 60 done now so I was pretty successful.  My end goal is to finish this quilt in the month of February and it is still looking possible.

The second project I wanted to work on was the Black Fish quilt.  I got it out of the closet.  Does that count????  In my book it does.

I did manage to finish one quilt this month so that was good.  I actually started and finished this quilt within the month of January.  It took about two weeks to make.

I also moved my sewing room across the hall to a bigger room.  This weekend we are putting up the track lighting and my design walls.  Then it will be done.  In my move I found that I have 39 unfinished quilts at the moment.  I have a lot of work to get done.

February Goals:

1.  Finish Bowties quilt.
2.  Finish blocks for the Fat Quarter Stars QAL.  I have about 3 or 4 blocks to go and want to get this one off my list.  I don't know that I will get the top completed, but the blocks will be a good start.
3.  Black Fish quilt.  Keep plugging away in the hopes of finally having the top done by Feb/Mar.

See what others have finished at Never too hot to stitch.

Great job on the bowties! I have no doubt that you will have it finished by the end of February.

No lectures from me on the 39 UFOs - I'm afraid to count the ones I have. ;oD

The bowties are coming along nicely and I'd definitely agree that getting a UFO out of the closet is a VERY important first step - of course it counts! Lynne.

Way to go on the bowties. :) Moving (either room to room or house to house) sure is a great motivator for getting those UFOs finished up, eh?

When do we get to see pictures of the area where you are sewing? You have a great start to finishing your ufo's.

Hurray for a new sewing room with track lighting!! Good thing you found all your projects. Now you can get them done in that new sewing room:)

39 UFOS? I don't even want to count mine. So we won't even discuss your 39. I'm happy that you have a bigger room and good lighting. The quilts you have been working on look great - the pink and black too really stunning.

I love the bowties. I like the sound of the Black Fish quilt, I'm very intrigued and yes getting it out of the closet is definitely a finish on it for last month. All to play for in Feb / March
