BOM Block 2

We are only two months in but there is hope I can stay on top of my BOM this year.  This is block 2.  The pattern called for a yoyo in the center of the flower, but I did not add it.  I was not sure there was enough contrast with the flower until I added the button hole stitches.

Next on my list is getting part 2 of the mystery quilt done.

Keeping up is always a battle for me. I don't do BOM but the Rainbow Scrap challenge always finds me playing catch up!

Very pretty block. So far, my BOM progress this year has been a bust!
