I cannot recall when I started this quilt along, but it has been at least a year. I was able to finish the first seven of the twelve blocks. It is on my list of UFOs to complete this year. Today I finished block #8 and cut out block # 9. There might be hope that I can cross this off my list.
I have to admit this block seemed really busy at first. I do like the end result. It is done with the American Primer line of fabric from many years ago. I really love this line.

This block is very interesting - I like the hour glasses with the star. Good fabric choices, too.
Oh yes - it's lovely! It's quite an unusual block and the colours work really well.
Great color combos in that block. I love the Fat Quarter Star Quilt along and that quilt made from the those blocks. Enjoy getting it off your UFO list.
