I started this pair a few weeks ago and goodness only knows when it will be done. Maybe I can get them done in the first half of the year and start one another. I think I have enough yarn to make 80 pair by now. I would say I'm more of a yarn collector than a knitter.
Check out the other WIPs at freshly pieced.

Great colors, very pretty.
I always have socks on the needles too. And I am definitely a collector of yarn but I am also an avid knitter! I'm a newbie quilter but that doesn't stop me from also having a collection of fabric!
I'm a crocheter, but mostly a quilter and fabric collector. I love your pretty pink and grey socks though, they look warm and inviting!
I also collect yarn, and never know what to do with it. Maybe socks are the answer! Thanks for the inspiration.
The great thing about knitting socks is that it can be picked up and put down at anytime. Socks are forgiving and don't mind being stalled; they don't judge.
I like the design the yarn is creating - very pretty color, too.
very brave ! I am scared of knitting socks, all I can handle is a wonky scarf. love the yarn!
You inspire me! I want to make some socks now. By the way I love your blog. I have nominated you for a Liebster award. You can check it out at http://simplydelighting.wordpress.com/2013/01/16/liebster-award-2/.
I've done a lot of knitting but never attempted socks..I love the pretty pink and grey combination. whatever craft I'm working on always turns into a huge collection.
Chris - Your blog is loaded in for my Grow Your Blog party. You will need to prepare a special post for the event. I will be by to meet you as soon as I can after the party starts~

I love hand knit socks too. I just finished a pair for my husband so I guess it's time to start another pair.
