The final Christmas quilt

I bought some Kansas Troubles turnovers a number of years ago and loved the fabrics.  I love all their fabric.  I forgot about them and rediscovered them a few months ago.  I decided I would make a quilt for myself.

I made simple hourglass blocks with the turnovers and trimmed them to 3.5 inches.  The quilt is not bed sized, but a good lap size.

The fabric had other ideas.  No matter how much I tried to convince myself this quilt was for me, it told me no.  I could only see it at my sister's house.  So I gave her the quilt for Christmas.  It does look perfect in her house.

You really need to come visit my house to see if you have a quilt that needs to live here!
