It is the year to get organized and get some things done. I have been inspired by the blog Life in Pieces to work on a schedule. Everyone has different methods to get organized and I decided my best method is to make a check list of what I want to complete for the week ahead. I made my little spreadsheet and am ready.| 2/1-2/7 | |
| 60 Bowtie blocks | |
| Finish Chains top | |
| 1 block DWR | |
| BOM block 2 | |
| 14 weave blocks | |
| GMFG 1 evening | |
| Pin Twister |
So it does not seem so confusing, the numbers of blocks is not how many I plan to make, but how many I plan to have done by the end of the week. My weeks go Friday through Thursday since I work 4/10 days. If I can follow this plan, I should have some finishes to show.
One quilt I plan to finish this year is the Grandmother's Flower Garden (GMFG) I started in 2005. It is all hand pieced and I want to hand quilt it next year.

It's interesting looking at the way other people get organised!
I've been working on monthly goals with Lynn over at Never too Hot to Stitch and I think those work better for me than trying to set yearly goals. I know it makes me focus on what I want to get done during the month.
Good luck with your organization plan. Hope it works for you.
