Talking to a friend the other day about old blocks she has reminded me of some blocks I started years ago at a local quilt shop. It was a Saturday Sampler kind of thing where if you finished your block, you got the next one free. I did really well.....for a while. I think there were 16 blocks in the set. I moved before we finished so I was able to get the sets for the last four blocks.

I love your blocks; great fabrics and lots of piecing. I'm glad you are going to finish them. I feel just the same as you-"Where did this year go?" And, before you know it we will be packing the Christmas decorations away, and it will be snowing. You've reminded me that I have some red and green BOMs that I wanted to finish and make into something before Christmas.......Can't wait to see how you set these.
Your blocks are very pleasing to the eye - in color and in design. Did you notice several have four patches in the corners, several have angled corders; thus, making them compatible. I'd finish the remaining blocks and play with the setting a bit.
Those are lovely blocks, and not your typical samplers ones, either. They play very well together. It will be interesting to see how you set them.

I agree with everybody! The blocks will tell you how they want to go. And you won't be sorry that you decided to finish the last four. I have had three blocks haunt me for years. Now that I have finished them - they FINALLY stopped whispering - "Finish me - finish me - finish me!! - You KNOW you want to!! - Just DO it!!" ;))
